Sallie Mackie has been taking pictures all her life; she was born into a family of photographers, and started snapping shots with her Kodak Swinger as a young girl. Sallie graduated from UCLA school of Arts and Architecture, did her post grad at Pacifica Graduate Institute, and trained at Penland School of Arts and Crafts. She has been published editorially around the world for twenty years but she is primarily an art photographer; her credits include academic projects, CDs, book covers, videos, portraits and dozens of magazines and other publications. Sallie specializes in portraits utilizing this talent to personalize a stylish, timeless and unforgettable image.
